Sellers description:
1966 Jaquar E-Type California car
Owned and loved for the past 21 years. I purchased this beauty in Sacramento, California.
I have always keep her tucked away inside a garage. Very good driving car. I used this as my daily driver for a few years and then parked her for the past 15 years using her sparingly on an occasional weekend outing. I have always kept up on any maintance.
No major repairs or accidents, body lines match up nicely.
We replaced the clutch 18 years ago and put new shocks about 13 years ago.
Replace tires, battery, brake pads, and radio
NEW INTERIOR and NEW TOP
* Interior was taken down to bare metal
* No rust or floor panel problems found
REPLACED:
* Carpet/ Wilton
* Hardura Kit
* all new seats
* door panels
* trunk area
* new Jag top
Major Gauges are in working order as are most of the switches. Currently the Odometer reads 12,433. This Odometer had never worked since the day of purchase. I figure I have put approx. 5,000 miles or less over the 21 years I have owned this Jag.
New Radio and speakers are after market. It will need a new Antenna.

CARBERATORS:
Triple HD.8 SU Carberators
TRANSMISSION:
Not numbers matching according to local mechanic 4 speed all synchromesh
The under side is very impressive. All original body panels, nice and straight No rust on floors.
The paint is still very shiney as you can see in the photos. There are some chips and scratches but very few.
There are some bubbles in the paint on the bonnet/hood. I was told that the bonnet bubbles are not rust as they have not changed in size in the 21 years I have owned it. Some small rust spots under the rear bumper.
