Sellers description:
1965 fixed head coupe. It has the 4.2 engine with the tri-carb set up and the sychro mesh gear box. The series I E-types have the desirable covered headlights and the tail lights are above the rear bumpers. This is a fully matching number car. The numbers are as follows: Car no. 30145, engine no. 701364-9, body no. 4E20202 and the gear box no. is EJ010. The head, the block, the gear box and body all match the comission plate. What I see is missing on the car is the air cleaner barrel for the carburetors, the front motif bar, the tools, the jack, the front cross member assembly and the wood that goes over the spare tire in the boot. The car has been sitting in dry storage since 1983. The motor turns freely. The car still has the original floors and sills. The body has small amount of rust on the bottom of the passenger side door. There is a dent on the passenger side door as well as a dent on the driver's rear quarter, which are shown in the photos. The interior of the car is complete and everything is intact. The seats are on the dry side, but can be used. The center console and the instruments in the dash are all in nice condition. The car is obviously being sold for restoration.
