After standing in a barn for about 8 years I bought this nice restored car near Hamburg/Germany. After changing the wear parts and receiving the JDHT-certificate I will add more details

Michael, your car looks great in the late-afternoon sun. It appears that the restoration was well done. Has the car always been in Germany, or did it arrive from the U.S? Anyway, welcome to the database and feel free to ask questions. I'm currently restoring my second E-Type, 1E32208. Best of luck with your car!

Hello Mark, thanks for the compliment! To answer your question: the former owner told me, that he has imported the car from Ft. Myers, Florida in the beginning 90's. and then restored it in several years of work. He is now a senior gentleman with a lot of classic cars (whose papers he messed) and the need to enter a car in an upright position...so he only uses his RR's and Bentleys and sold the E. Now I am waiting for any kind of document about this car. The absence of documented history tarnished the joy of buying it a little bit...

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
