Sellers description:
Restore or use for parts. Sad to say that the interior, glass and most the chrome is missing. This car was deserted at a body shop, and the owner could not be found. The bodyshop owner painted it, and filed a successful mechanics lien, and I have a clear, blue Texas title for the Jag. The Vin matches the ID plate as well as the stamping on the (picture) frame. The frame rails are straight, the bonnet is nice except for a few dents from valve cover nuts. The car has the original, very sought after 4.2 triple carb set up. The engine hits on a 6 cylinders and idles ok w 40 psi of oil pressure. The car will drive on and off a trailer just fun, and then move around your shop til you restore it, make it a race car (cut the roof?... and the paint looks good enough to put racing #'s on it), or convert your automatic car to a 4 speed and triple carbs. The car has the clutch/ brake pedal assemblies and driveshaft to do this as well! The tachometer and oil pressure, water temp guages all work as well. The exhaust is loud, and the car runs on a red gas can in the trunk. The car looks impressive even with no glass and chrome to speak of.
The engine matches the ID plate as well..matching #'s!
It's a straight old car, and maybe what you need to repair that rusty old 2+2 of yours.
