Sellers comment:
Ok tis sweet 68 XKE 4.2 2+2 Auto is a true classic 35,000 original miles on it. The motor and trans are good condition the and the car is a runner. it drives good and looks good it has a bone white interior and black exterior the paint was done 4 years ago chrome is all there but the frunt bumper is missing but i know where to get one. The car has some work done to it by me .Like the brakes, new lines and pads, the exhaust was replaced from front to back, with new chrome trumpets. The carbs were taken a part and rebuilt, radiator was cleaned and fan swich was replaced, new fuel pump, filter, and carb fuel lines. New carpet and the interior was cleaned and seats repaired, headliner is in good shape. The car is is original condition and will make some one a real happy camper. Im' setting a low reserve but the car can be sold at any time for I have it in local paper. So grab it while you can.GOOD LUCK.
Vehicle Condition
GOOD CAR. DAILY DRIVER JUST NEDS A LITTLE T.L.C. OTHERWISE A REAL SWEETHART

Starting bid: $15,000 reserve not met 0 bids 6 days left in auction, seller rham1966, car now said to be in Chabanais, France, 34k miles.
Seller's description:
This Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 Two Plus Two Coupe LHD was manufactured 23 April 1968 and dispatched to Jaguar Cars, New York, USA 9th May 1968. The Jaguar Heritage Certificate accompanying this car confirms that it retains the originality/same colour scheme today that it was originally supplied with, down to the Black paintwork and Beige leather piped seats. As far as we can reasonably determine this is a matching numbers vehicle when compared with Heritage Certificate supplied.
Present owner imported from USA to France as a retirement project but due to circumstances in life this will now need to change and is now back on the market for the next lucky owner to enjoy.
This car will require a full renovation and is 95% complete (no front bumper or grill bar).
Engine Turns Freely and started One year ago with Good Compression.
New Floor was installed 8 Years ago at a cost of $1200.
Please note pictures do not show rust spot over right wheel well (about 3 inches), and a further hole of rust about four inches on front lower nose cone - Nothing that can't be fixed.
