I would like to offer a Jaguar E-type, series II roadster, 1970 for sale, RESTORATION PROJECT
I bought the car in 2014 in USA. It is a matching numbers car, with Jaguar Heritage Certificate.
Car has never been restored before. Original interior is in resonably good condition, but needs restoration. I bought all necessary body parts (new inner and outer sills, floors etc.) This is a perfect restoration project. Some parts are already restored. There is also a new hardtop included. I was preparing this car and myself for an restoration.
I was looking for such car for a very long time. It is so called „honest car" very easy to restore. Even by yourself. Always thought it is much better to buy a „barn find" than badly restored car. It takes more time and money to fix the bad restoration. In my opinion the former owner prepared it for painting and this is what I got. I need to sell it because since last year I have got a new family member (my son) and we need to move to a bigger apartment.
Some info abut series II:
Car is one hundred percent perfect in relation to the series I and does not require upgrades for a normal, comfortable ride. Everything works: braking system, cooling, gearbox etc.
Series I is the most beautiful, but in fact it is a XK150 in a new body. To use the E-type in nowadays traffic, you need to buy a series II or remodel a series I.
