For sale at Woldside Classics of Louth for £95,000. Abbreviated seller's description below.

Finished in original Signal Red paintwork with Black leather interior, this car is well known to us as we supplied it almost 5 years ago after purchasing it from the previous elderly keeper of 45 years, he was just the second owner and paid the grand sum of £1,895 for it back then! The odometer mileage indicated today shows it at 21,699 - this isn't a car that has gone around the clock but instead had a new speedo fitted in 1979 when the mileage was 57,000 so the total mileage is 78,000. The history file is comprehensive. It includes the original book pack with manual, dealer book, radio instruction and wiring diagram. The timeline within the history file shows the previous owner purchasing the car in December 1973 at 36,720 miles. He ran the car until 1980 when he had the car laid up to 1987 when it was restored, The engine was rebored and rebuilt and the car was stripped down to bare metal and resprayed and rebuilt with new carpets and hood, all completed 6 years later in 1993.
Since completion in in 1993 the owner kept the car for another 25 years and covered a further 17,000 miles until we purchased it from him. Increasing age and ill health meant the car was very used, being occasionally fired up, receiving minor maintenance and being MoT'd. The car was stored well and the bodywork was in super condition, just needed detailing. The interior was tired. The leather seats, although visually in good condition gave no support so were reconditioned and rebuilt with new cushions and covers, the headrests were rebuilt similarly. Mechanically the car was serviced and recommissioned. The only non standard change was removal of the exhaust silencers and straight pipes fitted. Since we sold the car our client has enjoyed 5 years trouble free motoring. He has cared for it well and it has covered only 1,000 miles early summer evening miles. It returns in a condition similar to how it left us. This is a high quality RHD E Type that is reasonably priced.
