This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II coupe is finished in red over black leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 15″ wire wheels, dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, four-wheel disc brakes, a louvered clamshell bonnet, and a Kenwood CD player. The car is said to have been sold new in British Columbia, Canada, and later brought to Oregon where it was acquired by the seller in October 2022. This XKE is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a factory jack, a tool roll, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.
The car was refinished in red circa 1997 and features a louvered clamshell bonnet, exposed headlights, pop-out rear quarter windows, dual exhaust outlets, and a wrap-around rear bumper.
Chrome 15” knock-off wire wheels are fitted with red-stripe tires. The four-wheel disc brakes feature inboard-mounted rear rotors. The seller notes a leak at the left-front brake caliper.
The cabin features black leather seats along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a wood-rim steering wheel, lap belts for both occupants, an analog clock, rocker switches for vehicle functions, and a Kenwood CD player. The seats show signs of wear.
Smiths instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The speedometer has been replaced, and the five-digit odometer currently shows 8,200 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors. Service in preparation for the sale reportedly included changing the oil, along with draining and cleaning the fuel system and carburetor bowls and floats, refurbishing the fuel pump, flushing the coolant, and replacing the battery. The motor mounts and rubber hoses are in need of replacement due to age.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox.

Exposed headlights, pop-out rear quarter windows, dual exhaust outlets, and a wrap-around rear bumper make this car a real head turner.
Chrome 15” knock-off wire wheels are fitted with Michelin X red-stripe tires. The four-wheel disc brakes feature inboard-mounted rear rotors. The Brake system has been flushed and all brakes are working properly with a lot of life left in them.
When the car was acquired the fuel system was flushed, fuel pump rebuilt, and fuel filter replaced. The air filter was also replaced at this time as well as all hoses in the cooling system have been replaced.
There was a new battery installed and all electrical systems tested.
This is a beautiful car that can be driven and enjoyed just the way it is.
You will enjoy riding in this cabin featuring black leather seats along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a wood-rim steering wheel, lap belts for both occupants, an analog clock, rocker switches for vehicle functions, and a Kenwood CD player. The driver seat does show some signs of wear,
The car is equipped with Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The speedometer was replaced at 41998 miles, Documentation of this is included with the car and the current five-digit odometer shows 8,200 miles. Total mileage is believed to be 50217 . A receipt for the speedometer refurbishment work performed in July 1987 is provided in the gallery link.
The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors. This motor runs and sounds great with compression on the motor between 105 to 110 PSI on all cylinders.
When looking at this car you can't help to love the color and condition of the paint. I was told that the car had been repainted around 1999 by a restoration shop in Canada. Unfortunately I do not have documentation for this but the paint comes in with an average of 10 mils thickness. Even though this is at least a 24 year old paint job it is in great shape with only 2 small chips in it. One by the back hatch and one on the bonnet.
