    Vehicle Description
1969 Jaguar E-Type Series 2 coupe in British Racing Green with black leather interior. The correct 4.2 liter 6-cyclinder engine is in excellent condition and was rebuilt 10,000 miles ago (still tight). The car also features a stainless steel exhaust, new wire wheel wheels, and an electronic ignition that always starts. We have receipts for everything. Maryland inspection.

    Vehicle Condition
This E-Type is in overall "very good" condition. While it is not a show car, it is a RUST-FREE vehicle that is reliable, drivable, and very attractive. The owner has pampered this car for over 28 years. He drove it daily for 10 years, to and from work; since then it has been garaged continuously and driven for sport and leisure. This car is meant to be driven; it is a great touring car. The 4.2-liter rebuilt engine (#7R5780-9) is strong and fast. There are a few chips in the exterior paint. The body is straight and the steering is straight with no drift. The clutch was replaced when the engine was rebuilt. The leather seats are replacements in excellent condition with no tears or scratches.

My partners and I just purchased this car completely in pieces from the second or third owner, Paul, who lived north of Philadelphia Pa. Paul purchased the car on e-bay from George H. who owned the car from 1975 through sometime in 1996 (we have determined from receipts obtained with the car). We are going to put the pieces back together and put the car back on the road. The car was originally willow green and black interior- now dark green exterior with black interior. Will keep posting with photos. Dan

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
