Ebay item 6/20/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XKE-2-2-1969-Jaguar-XKE-2-2-Regency-Red-Leather-O ...
Current bid $2,000, no reserve, 2 bids 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
I am listing this vehicle for my uncle, who does not have access to Ebay. His description is as follows: I am offering this classic 1969 Jaguar XKE 2+2 with 127,000 original miles on it. It saddens me to part with it, but its time to pass it on to someone who can give it the attention it deserves. The exterior color is a beautiful “Regency Red”, with a tan leather interior. Original wire spoke wheels. I am the original owner, and the car has been garaged for most of its history. The engine was rebuilt 15 years ago, but does not operate now. It has not been used for the past 12 years and has been garaged ever since. This Jaguar has great potential for restoration, or a strong value even as parts. Most of the chrome is in good condition, except for the rear bumper, which has some pitting. Because of its age, there is some rust on the rear underside. Minor repairs needed include: the door lock on the driver’s side, which does not operate. Also, the reflector glass on the front right fender needs to be replaced. The car is located in the town of Sherman in western Connecticut (Fairfield County).
