Ebay item 1/22/10 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-SII-2-2-1970-Jaguar-E-Type-2-2-Coupe-R ...
Current bid $4,550 reserve not met, 4 bids 6 days left in auction. 42k miles.
Sellers description:
This E-Type is a very collectable marque as well as a fun car to drive. I have just completed a full frame up restoration (less that 300 miles ago) on this low milage original XKE. This is a numbers matching car, newly painted, the body is straight, new Bridgestone Potenza tires, new spoke wheels, all chrome is either new or re-plated original. The interior is all new leather, original factory seat belts, original tools, new carpets and headliner and lots of careful detailing. This E-Type has a rare combination of a factory four speed manual transmission with factory air conditioning and power steering. The car drives out well and would make anyone an enjoyable driver that attracts a crowd of admirers everywhere it goes.
I have previously restored and sold a 1952 XK120, and I'm now working on yet another restoration. I need to sell the XKE to make room for my current project.
