Sellers description:
Beautiful 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II Roaster. It features beautiful cosmetics and is mechanically excellent running matching numbers 4.2 Liter engine and 4 speed, full synchro transmission. This car is original survivor car it is a perfect running driver. It is a fantastic running and driving example of one of the most legendary automobiles ever produced and has a stunning presence in silver & black leather. This car is not like other Jaguars that break down all the time. This one starts every time and I have driven this car personal over 80mph on a 300+ mile trip. The only flaw on this car is the paint. On a scale of 1-10 it is an 8. Very presentable driver. There is some bubbling on the air vent on the bonnet. This car has a new soft top with a clear back window. The car will require new tires in the future and that is it! It is so rare to find a complete Jaguar that runs as good as this one here. I have owned over 20-30 Jaguars XKE over the years and this is best driving one I have had. The car is complete with spare and knock off hammer. The original Becker radio is in the car but not hooked up. The floor pans are Solid. There is some minor rust in a couple of areas (see pictures). The numbers for the car is as follows: Car# 1R7973 Engine# 7R2715-9 Body# 4R2055 Gear Box# K/E4113 If you are looking for an affordable Jaguar XKE to drive and not fix this is your car.
