    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $30,211.00 (Reserve not met), 17 bids, 6 days left in auction. 78k miles.

    Sellers description:
This car has undergone a cosmetic restoration. As we understand this is a two owner car and the car spent most of its time in the South. Finished in presentable light blue with newer dark blue interior. Some of the more recent work includes tires, top, wheels, engine detail and interior. This car drives nice and handles great. The engine is strong with excellent compression. This is not a show car, but a nice solid, very presentable driver that can be enjoyed. All ready to go and recently gone through.

This fine automobile is available for inspection in Rochester, NY

Current bid $28,100 reserve not met, 2 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Ventura, California. 93k miles.

    Sellers description:
1969 E-Type Jaguar 4.2 Series II Roadster. Restored approximately six years ago, the car is a real head-turner. In the last 10,000 miles, the owner has completed an extensive list of performance and maintenance upgrades, making this example extremely reliable. The last two photos posted shows the car in action at 80 MPH in 5th gear with only 2500 revs. Please notice the great charging, oil pressure, water temp plus E-Type clock which is accurate. The word "driver" is an understatement. This is an XKE Roadster that you can actually enjoy for touring, every day commuting or simply to show or add to your collection.

    Features:
Replace every lightbulb on the car...upgraded headlights
    new front wiring harnesses
upgrade alternator harness to 60 amp (car has an upgraded AC delco alternator)

    Alpine am/fm cd player
    new electric clock
    new horns
replaced all electrical relays and sending units
new upgraded Lucas electric fuel pump
upgraded to V-12 radiator cooling fans with direct wired bypass switch (far right rocker on the dash)

    rebuilt steering column
    rebuilt steering rack
    new steering rack mounts
    new tie rod ends
new upper and lower ball joints

    new clutch master cylinder
new clutch slave cylinder - stainless steel
new clutch and brake reservoir bottles and hoses
    new engine and transmission mounts
    new heater core
    new heater valve and cable

Condition: Beautiful car. Very handsome color combination. There are some body and paint issues: Dents and chips by the gas filler (see photos..from a set of golf clubs which fell against the car in the garage); various shallow parking lot door dings; a dimple on the P/S back body panel; a paint patch around the radio antenna; a pop in the front bonnet where the hood was closed with something protuding from the inside and some chips on the nose; the back bumper chrome is a little thin. The imperfections mentioned are minor in my opinion. If you are an absolute perfectionist, these items could be easily repaired by a qualified shop. The interior and top are very presentable as-is. All in all, as nice a roadster as you would hope to locate. Make it yours.

Car has a buy it now price of $92,000 for 4 days. Car said to be in Cheshire, Connecticut, 98k miles.

    Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar Series II, E-Type OTS. All numbers matching car. California car all its life until just a few years ago when it came to CT. In 2014 it underwent a full engine and interior out repaint, stripped to bare metal, with all new rubber seals, new interior, (original leather on seats, with new pad/cushion), new roof, new boot cover, new chrome, new Dayton wire wheels, new tires. The car is currently equipped with a stainless exhaust, updated fans for better cooling, a GM alternator and Tremec 5 speed manual transmission. The original 4 speed box comes with the car. The lump was rebuilt 12,000 miles ago. This car is a multi-show winner but is built to be a reliable driver and has been driven and enjoyed, however, it is kept in immaculate condition and no expense is spared in her upkeep. The odometer reads 98,000 miles however, this is like a new car.

I have driven this car and absolutely incredible is what first comes to mind.. supreme confidence is what next comes to mind... The steering is tight, the shifts are precise, the engine pulls strong through all five gears and cruises easily at 80MPH spinning just about 2000 RPM. This car feels like driving a new car, not something 45 years old.

There is a Heritage Certificate that comes with the car along with copies of all receipts.

At 2 Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA) sanctioned Concours D'Elegance events in 2014 this car scored a 9.952 and 9.964 in the Driven D03 Class and took Best In Show at one of them. It has taken trophies in nearly every show it has been entered in.
