I bought this car in 1984 in New Orleans. Someone had added a fiberglass targa top similar to a 68 to 77 Corvette, formed around the factory convertible top frame.
It didn't take long before I pulled that monstrosity off and re-installed a convertable top.
By the time I sold it, I had rebuilt the engine, and completed a 90% restoration (only items not finished were not reinstalling the A/C system, and various small details)
