Sellers description:
With less than 13000 original and documented miles this survivor car is a true find. Last registered in 1988 we found this car in a garage where it sat for over 25 years. The cooling, fuel, brakes, and clutch systems have all been gone through and rebuilt using the original components where possible. She even has the original brake rotors (re ground) with the welded rings. All rubber components in the suspension have been replaced as well as the shocks. This is as close as you will come to owning a brand new original E-Type as you will find. Car has a new fuel tank, new engine bay wiring harness, new top, 5 new competition wire wheels with OE Dunlop SP tires. Original wheels and tires come with the car. Engine runs strong with good oil pressure and no overheating. We have fitted pertronix electronic ignition in the OE distributor incase the new owner wishes to go back to points and condenser. Also fitted remote rear brake bleeders for better servicability. We have replaced the head gasket and flushed the block of any sediment that built up over the years of sitting. Car is Gorgeous and 95% original. The willow green paint and original chrome are beautiful for a car of this age with light patina. The interior is also in beautiful shape with all original components. Completely rust free, with no repair panels ever fitted. Has Jaguar Heritage Certificate, and much more paper work to prove mileage. Has original service passport and service handbook. Also comes with factory parts and service manuals in both OE type books and PDF formats. Has factory fitted 8 track radio (un tested as we don't have any 8 tracks) and OE 3 point seat belts. New period correct tar top battery, rebuilt alternator and starter motor. All electrics work and operate as intended. Car runs and drives like a 13000 mile E-Type. Just stunning.

Two owner car but current owner only purchased car 12 months ago. Originally sold up in NY the original owner and the car made their was south to Florida in the early 80's. In the late 80's (believed to be mid 87) with less than 12500 mile someone tried to break into the car, damaged the trunk lid and slashed the roof. The then owner disgusted with what had been done to his beautiful E-Type drove the car home and never drove her again. The current owner bought her mid 2014 and then we started the resurrection of this beauty. Completely gone through and now driven an additional 250 miles to this point to prove the fact she is turn key she runs and drives like a dream.

We purchased the car after it going through a complete mechanical restoration including an overhaul of the brakes, clutch hydraulics, cooling system, fuel system with a new fuel tank, carburetors, complete suspension overhaul, new shocks, rebuilt steering rack, New engine harness and dash wiring harness. The car still wears its original Dunlop SP tires and we have purchased a set of new wheels and tires for the occasional drive. One of the nicest surviving E-Type examples we have ever seen.
