Ebay item 10/10/06 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1969-Jaguar-E-Type-RESTORED_W0QQitemZ28003 ...
Current bid $8,600 reserve not met, 8 bids, 6 days left in auction. 53k miles.
Sellers description:
This vehicle is an excellent example of a restored Jaguar XKE the restoration work was mostly done by Majestic Cars and is considered a "driver" restoration, meaning it is NOT a ground up restoration. Many parts have been replaced or reconditioned including a new paint job and brand new wire wheels with Michelin "red stripe" tires. Runs and drives very well.

Current bid $26,100 reserve not met, 8 bids, 9 days left in auction. Buy it now price $42,000. Car now said to be in Norwell, Massachusetts. 53k miles.
Sellers description:
This 1969 XKE roadster is a fully matching number car. This car has been well maintained over it's lifetime. It has always been garaged. The chrome and the paint on it are in super nice condition. The body is very straight. The gaps on the doors, bonnet and boot line up very nicely. The top, wheels and tires were replaced about 1 1/2 years ago. The convertible top is a mohair top and it fits very nicely on the frame. The car has good oil pressure even when the car is warm. In 2002 a new clutch was installed, all the brakes, front and rear had new pads and rotors installed, and the brake calipers were rebuilt. The exhuast has no leaks and the car purrs like any cat should. The car does not and did not come with air conditioning. In 2002 the seats had new leather installed and the carpets and door panels were replaced. I have reason to believe that this car did not originally get shipped to the United States as is does not have the side markers or indicator lights that are usual for the American Series II cars. It definitely does give the car a little cleaner look. The car odometer is in mph. I do have a clear Massachusetts title.
