Finished in Azure Blue with Cinnamon leather upholstery, this original, right-hand drive Series III Roadster was manufactured for the UK market and spent its early years in the South of England before being purchased by a marine engineer living in the North East in 1983. The car remained in his ownership for 12 years before passing to another engineer in the same locality who owned it for a further 10 years. The current owner acquired the E-Type in 2005. Presented in good/excellent condition, the car has covered a genuine 51,700 miles from new, as verified by accompanying expired MoT certificates, and is offered with Jaguar Heritage Certificate, old-style logbook, current road fund licence, MoT to July 2009 and Swansea V5 registration document.

Ebay item 8/20/11 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Classified ad price: £39,900.00
Sellers description:
1973 Jaguar E Type V12 Convertible.
Chassis Number 1s1798
Registration number VFX888L
A low mileage car that has covered just 53000 miles from new. This mileage is warranted & backed up by a copy of every MOT since the car was three years old!! Last year it had a major service costing over £4500 covering a huge variety of usual maintenance items.
The car is finished in its original colour of Azure blue with a tan leather interior in good used condition. It sports chrome wire wheels to the four corners, again in excellent shape, shod with 4 very good tyres.
The car has not been run for a year or so. It starts & runs just fine, but has a slight exhaust blow at the manifold. As a result the price has been reduced to reflect this.
The car comes with a variety of bills & pleasingly its original Jaguar service manual. It drives beautifully with effortless power & a supple suspension.
Very original, very useable & warranted low mileage.
