Sellers description:
Beautiful numbers matching 1974 Jaguar XKE V12 Roadster for sale in the absolute rarest of color combinations. The only black cars were either factory ordered or had to be one of the last 50 vehicles built. This color combination is not only the most desirable but the rarest available. Car has had two known owners and has lived in California since new. The car was resprayed by the first owner probably in the late 80's or early 90's. It was nicely done and is holding up well, especially considering its age. There are a few blemishes here and there but they do not distract from the overall beauty of this beautiful black cat.
In 1996 the odometer was replaced at 67k. The car has had 2,800 miles put on it since. The same mechanic has been working on the car since the end of the ownership cycle of the previous owner. The motor is smooth and quiet with no undesirable sounds. It has plenty of power and burns clean. The car starts; runs, shifts and drives beautifully. It has been meticulously maintained and is detailed, tuned and ready to enjoy right now. Seller is Left Coast Classics.
