The 'E' type is possibly 'the' icon of the motoring industry and this Series III example has the 2+2 bodywork and the extremely powerful 5343cc V12 engine. It dates from 1971 and has the much preferred manual four-speed gearbox.
It has been in the present owners possession for the past eleven years and he has informed us that the car was converted to fuel injection by Jaguar Cars themselves early on in its life and has proved to be very quick and reliable. It benefits from being fitted with chrome wire wheels, a full length folding sunroof and it still retains its original number plate.
It is described as being in very good condition throughout and this example of the much loved 'E' Type will give much pleasure to the new owner especially as they are simply tremendous value for money.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
