Car was at auction 7/08
www.classicauctions.co.uk/lotdetail.php

Auction description:
Lot : 18
1973 Jaguar E-Type V12 Coupe
Estimate: SOLD for £10450
Mileage: 56898
Colour: Turqoise
Trim Colour: Tan
Chassis No: IS52001
Engine No: 751304ISA
Registration No: XWE 11M

Finished in turquoise with tan leather upholstery, this particular example is described by the vendor as being in "very good" condition with regard to its engine, four-speed manual transmission, electrical equipment, interior trim, chassis, bodywork, paintwork and wheels / tyres. While, he adds that: "I bought the car in 1983 and over the years have replaced worn parts with new. Six years ago I started a major restoration programme which included a new bonnet, door panels and complete respray in its original colour. It has been back on the road for the past two years and like most classics has done very little mileage in that short time". Coming from long-term ownership, this attractively hued manual V12 E-type is accompanied by a MOT certificate valid until May 2009.
