This 1971 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster was purchased new by the owner from Inland Imports in San Bernardino, California, and it now shows 19k miles. The car was refurbished in 2016, at which time it was refinished in Cranberry over tan leather. Powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six that has been fitted with triple SU carburetors, and the car is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, a tan soft top, a louvered clamshell hood, four-wheel disc brakes, and 15″ wire wheels. Service in June 2025 included replacing ignition components and lubricating the grease fittings. This XKE roadster is now offered by the owner’s wife in Wisconsin at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a Heritage Trust certificate, spare parts, initial purchase documents, service records, and a clean Wisconsin title.
Finished from the factory in Light Blue, the car was repainted in Cranberry during the 2016 refurbishment, at which time the tan convertible top was replaced and the chrome nose surround was omitted. Exterior equipment includes a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, bright trim, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets.
Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels wear 205/75 Pirelli P300 whiteline tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors. The rubber suspension parts and bushings were replaced in 2016.
The refreshed cabin features bucket seats upholstered in tan leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. Interior appointments include a locking glovebox, a heater, a wooden shift knob, and a Sony stereo.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer, as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 19k miles.
The 4.2-liter inline-six has been modified with triple SU carburetors and aftermarket intake and exhaust manifolds. Service in June 2025 included replacing the points, spark plugs, and condenser as well as servicing the grease fittings.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Heritage Trust certificate lists the vehicles’ original colors and serial numbers.
