RHD Chassis number 116 was built on 11 September 1961 and dispatched to Henlys London on 26 September 1961. Distributed to Halls of Finchley, the Jaguar dealer for North London it was sold to Mr F C Bullimore of Hertingfordbury near Hertford.

At some point it was re-bodied as a fixed head coupe. I t underwent a comprehensive nut and bolt restoration from 2005 to 2006. Re-bodied with a Martin Robey bodyshell and finished in British Racing Green. The interior was re-trimmed by the Trim Centre of Nuneaton.

It has attended a number of events and shows including the XK60 event at Goodwood in 2008, exhibited on the Jaguar Enthusiasts Stand at Essen in 2011 and the Mersea Transport Show in 2014.

I entered this car when I saw it at Stoneleigh years ago, I entered what the then owner told me. Perhaps someone should check the DVLA or for previous owners, there are many reasons why someone would convert an OTS to a FHC, these cars weren't always loved and many lay rotting away and only kept running by serious enthusiasts, parts weren't available in the 70's and 80's so you had to get what you could from a scrapyard to keep them running, if that included replacing a rotten roadster shell with a half decent FHC then so be it.

Nice car but ruined by some stupid mistakes, front suspension should be black and not plated, doors shouldn't have arm rests, rear bulkhead should be straight and not have the cut outs for the seats.
Carb linkage and manifold is wrong, Wrong headlights should be the Lucas 3 pronged type. License plate area shouldn't have the hole in. That's all I can see from the photos.
