1964 e-type jaguar drop head coupe. very nice example with all features intact and most working, correct colour scheme, carmen over black, car had light restoration in 1980's including paint and looks like seats recovered correctly in black leather to original specification. door panels good, dash good, all electrics working, correct glass windscreen washer bottle not hooked up but complete and intact. floors good with no rust, both floor inserts (footwell only) replaced in 1980's with correct peices. all around very nice original, very nice driving car with the ability to be a wonderful driver, or if you wish to restore, a very nice starting point. correct numbers matching car/engine/body etc., with exception of gearbox replaced with later model syncromesh type, absolutly stunning to drive, not at all like the non-syncromesh gearbox which is much less pleasant. (have original gearbox) mirrors missing in photographs are with car and available. carpets are good, trunk is good. chrome is good. lenses and fixtures working and in good condition. correct 3.8 litre engine fires up with no problems, and with tune up and regular care a fantastic opportunity to drive it while you consider your options. very strong for a 40 something year old car. brakes new on rear, great on front, drives straight, stops straight, looks wonderful. both rockers or sills have small chipping/ paint issues with some small cracking as indicated in pictures, all part of a potential restoration, doors have correct gaps and open and close properly. when lifted car looks great underneath with all areas in very nice condition.
