This car is a very late E type 3.8 OTS LHD. Some books said that the last LHD 3.8 OTS is the 881885, others designed the 881886 the last, and this car is the 881882, so only 3 or 4 cars were factory built after than this one.

I´m very interesting in obtain information about cars with close chassis number to mine, in particular about the last ones, so feel free to contact me at vantage2@terra.es

The car was imported originality to Canary Island, Spain, and it is still in the same location, the first owner was a friend of my family, and he had the car only for one year and a half, then he sold the car to my father on 1.966, and my father gift it to me on my 18 birthday, some 17 years ago.

The recorded milliage on the car are only 64.300 Km, but when the car was restaured the engine was fully rebuilt with new pistons, rings, oil pump, bearings, chains etc.

The cilynder head was prepare with extra hardened seats and guides and nitrurate valves to run on unleaded

Due to be a late production car, has not aluminium dash, and have glove box in the tunnel, also the ashtray is the square type, like the 4.2.

The convertible hood cover is diferent to most of the 3.8´s because on Octuber 1.964 were factoy changed

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
