Sellers description:
A very clean, classic car found in the dry desert of the southwest. It is a 6 cylinder 4.2 E type Jaguar roadster, & for the most part it is virtually rust free. There are a few minor flaws in the paint and body, but it has been 37 years since this beauty was built. On the whole this car is very clean and straight. A great base to build on. 1969 Jaguar E Type 4.2 6 cylinder Roadster. 59,270 MILAGE SHOWING Manufactured 10 / 69 P1R11051 ID # 494917 BODY # 7R8617-9 ENGINE # KE9898 GEAR BOX Ext color: Yellow Int color: Black: Body Desc.: Drivers door: 4 chips in paint and cracked paint around handle Interior trim slightly separated around door handle, handles intact and working Drivers rear qtr panel : no visible problem or conditions Trunk: 1 small chip in paint on lid. Trunk is clean and in excellent shape Pass. rear quarter panel: rocker panel near door has bondo work from previous repairs 3”x 6”area needs attention ( cosmetic only) Passenger door: doesn’t open from outside paint bubble interior same as drivers side Missing antenna / scratched paint around missing ant. Pass front qtr panel: Hood : 1/2 dozen chips most all smaller than Quarter some showing hint of rust along the chrome trim on crests of hood. Around hood vents paint is cracked and blistered from heat. Chips in the light wells. Several chips and scratches at nose of hood. Hood cowl is clean and straight. Underside of hood shows previous work but nothing to worry about visually clean and pretty much rust free Driver front qtr panel: Wheels & tires: 6 Steel wheels Trim: in good shape rubber gaskets are in need of replacement Windshield : scratches on passenger side from wipers wiper work small rock chip Top: The Rag top has two small tears and rear window is fogged,needs wrk Interior: Dash is coming unglued around the front edge Gauges and switches all are clean and seem in good order Drivers seat has a small tear at the top near left shoulder Rear view mirror needs bezel otherwise
