We offer this E Type with the desirable 2+2 configuration, 4.2 engine and manual gearbox. Finished in the classical colour combination of white with a black interior, it sits on a set of knock on wire wheels and so has a great look. It has been in storage for a number of years but appears to have been stored well. It has come to the market due to bereavement otherwise the restoration that was started would have been completed.
The general impression is that the body is quite solid, there are things you might expect but overall it is not bad. The interior is in need of a clean, but looks to be all there and in nice condition. It has a period pop up sunroof, this could be removed or turned into a Webasto style roof. There are a selection of parts to help complete the project, we are sure more may be needed, but the important bits are there.
The documents suggest the E Type was registered in the UK on 30 April 1975 and it was built in 1970, so it was possibly used overseas for the first 5 years of its life, the important thing is that it is RHD. The car has rather a good number plate, though not sure it is transferable it can be kept with the car. The car comes with V5, a few old MoTs and some old V5s showing the ownership trail. It has had only 4 previous owners in the UK.
This project needs finishing, we think it will be rewarding as it deserves to be back on the road as someone's pride and joy. It could a valuable E Type and be a shred investment.
