Ebay item 7/22/09
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $1,000 reserve not met, 1 bid 4 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This is a one of a kind 1970 Jaguar E Type with a Chevrolet Heart. This car along with my other listings has been garage kept and is up for sale due to owner making space in garage. This ride may be driven anywhere or may arrange delivery as well.

Along with all other factory options, this car has many new modifications. The Exterior is in great overall shape as well as inside. All Glass is in very good shape, doors open and shut very well. Car starts right up and runs and sounds excellent. Of course with any used car, it isn't perfect, but in great shape. It has new special ordered tires with less than 10 miles on them. Driver's seat has some wear on it but besides that, car is in very good shape. The car itself only has 56k actual miles and the engine and trans has only 10 HOURS!! Have all paperwork for new owner.

Engine is a 355 Stroker consisting of
* Edelbrock Pro-Flow Heads
* Flat-Top Pistons
* Lunati Camshaft
* Edelbrock Carbuerator
* Edelbrock High Rise Intake
* High Grade Plugs/Wires
* Summit 350 Transmission w/reverse valve body
* 2800 Stall
* Side Chrome Dual Exhausts
* Stainless Headers
* 373 Jag Rear Independent
* MUCH MUCH MORE...

Over 5k In Engine and Trans Alone with All Papers

Overall this car will drive you anywhere whether it is to shows or just a weekend driver but may get down and dirty if needed. All Chrome Trim, Badging, Etc. is in great shape and paint shines great. Engine isn't even broken in yet with approx. ONLY 10 hours of action on it and never ran hard. Just drove out on weekend and back into garage where it rests.

I bough the car in late 2009 or early 2010. Shipped to Australia.

Chev engine was in awesome condition, although it was not a 355 stroker... just a nice 350...Engine nice...fitment and engineering non existent... frames cut... NO torque reaction plate...exhaust a couple of pieces pf 4inch pipe tech screwed to the floor..or rather the rust..

SO, sold the engine...soda blasted the body...not too bad actually...new front floors and a little welding..straghtened the rails where the torque reaction plate should have been... new frames..and on it goes... body is still on rotissary (distracted by other projects). Planning to fit an AJ16 and Getrag 5 speed...should be fun! should go well.. Have had the engine in the car...tight fit... but I can make it fit...biggest issue (so far) is making my own inlet manifolds etc...

...and so it goes... probably a year from being back on the ground...undersiade and inside painted...mecahnicals refitted etc.... then onto the efi.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
