This 1973 Jaguar E-Type is a Series III roadster that was acquired by the current owner in Pennsylvania in June 2018 after a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment was started by the previous owner. Refurbishment work since 2005 is said to have included repainting the car in red, renewing the tan leather interior, and replacing the brakes. Power is provided by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes a tan convertible top, 15″ chrome wire wheels, a Pioneer CD stereo, quad SU carburetors, and a stainless steel exhaust system. This Series III E-Type is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with refurbishment records, operating and repair manuals, spare parts, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the owner’s name.

The car was repainted red during previous ownership and is paired with a tan convertible top. Exterior details include backdated chrome bumpers, hood louvers, V12 badging, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller notes that body work was performed on the nose of the car and the missing chrome trim is included in the sale. The right headlight is inoperable, and paint bubbles and other imperfections exits.

Chrome 15″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with 215/70 Goodyear Assurance All-Season tires showing 2017 date codes. Equipment includes independent suspension, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes with inboard rear rotors. The seller notes that front and rear brake components were replaced during current ownership along with several wheel spokes.

The cabin features reupholstered tan leather seats along with matching door panels, lighter carpets, and a black dashboard. Equipment includes a heater and defroster, a locking glovebox, and a Pioneer CD stereo. The analog clock does not work, the trunk plywood is missing, and a tear in the center armrest is depicted in the gallery below. Air-conditioning system components will accompany the car.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel sits ahead of a Smiths 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 55k miles, though actual mileage is unknown. The seller notes the horns do not work.

The 5.3-liter V12 is fed by a quartet of SU side-draft carburetors fitted with screened air filters. The seller states an aluminum radiator and a Lucas electronic distributor are also installed, and the fuel pump was reportedly replaced during current ownership. The removed factory air filters are included in the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. A stainless steel exhaust system has also been fitted.

Refurbishment records, an operating guide, and two repair manuals are included in the sale.

The data tag lists car #UD1S21340. The Pennsylvania title carries an Antique Vehicle brand and lists the VIN as UDIS21340.
