This is an extensively restored example from 1972, that came from the United States a few years ago. The restoration has allowed the fitting of a fuel injection system so the engine responds and performs better than with the original carburettors. The original gearbox has been replaced with a Getrag 5 speed manual gearbox, known to be reliable and responsive. It allows the 276hp of torque from the 5.3 litre V12 engine to be fully utilised. The body was not bad but has been fully restored, as has the underbody and suspension; it is now a feast for the eyes. The interior black leather trim sits perfectly with the Sable Brown body and Black mohair soft top. This E Type V12 roadster is a great opportunity to buy an extensively restored example for a wonderful price.
