Sellers description:
I am the second owner of this recently bought Jaguar XKE 1973 from the initial Texas owner. Exterior color yellow ( was repainted and use to originally be Burgundy), interior tan, been in storage for 15 years and was running daily until then.Very good restoration project and car is all complete! Engine is aluminium 12 cylinder with 4 speed transmission and RARE factory AC. Body in very decent shape with rusted battery holder, some small area rust on left side of driver side and same on right side of passenger floor. very little rust bottom back fenders and surface rust under bonnet, overall body in very decent shape. Chrome pitted and need to be redone. Interior seats are in rough shape. The original engine as frozen head on block and a replacement engine was recently purchased and both engines are available seating in crates. Previous owner told me the replacement engine should be in running condition, yet have not tried to bench test it.
