1973 XKE 5.3 Series 3 convertible. It has 32,649 original miles and has factory air conditioning, Adwest power steering and a Borg-Waner Model 12 automatic transmission. It is as original with Pale Primrose paint with a black interior with black top. The interior appears to be original showing normal wear. The car number is UD1S22567BW, engine number is 7S11395LA, the body number is 4S4363 and the gear box number is 17779. This Jaguar was buil in the 2nd quarter of 1973 making it a late 1973 build. The aluminum alloy V12 has 5343 cc or 326 cu in. It has four Zenith Stromberg carburators model 175CD 2SE.
It is a southern car and it has NO RUST problems at all. It is absolutely original except for an overall paint job in the original color a few years ago. There are a few chips and some color fading.
When I purchased the car it had the original hoses, belts and so forth. Although it ran OK, I felt it was not appropriate to drive this beautiful cat without going over it mechanically replacing the parts necessary due to age. As a result I shipped the car to one of the nations premier Jaguar engine builders, North Coast Exotics, in Cleveland Ohio. North Coast replaced all hoses, flushed the cooling system, replaced the spark plugs, replaced all belts, replaced the brake master cylinder servo and changes all the brake fluid, repaired transmission mount, and replaced the alternator. This car now runs like new and is in condition to drive many carefree miles.
