DESCRIPTION
1973 JAGUAR XKE, Jaguar 1973 E-type V12 Roadster 4-speed with airconditioning. Mechanically and aesthetically in excellent condition. Old English white with new premium black top and black interior. Paint has been water sanded and buffed for smoothness. 72000 miles, new tires, new CD/AM-FM w/ electric antenna, many mechanical refurbishments. Always garaged. This sports car looks and runs like it's nearly new, but evokes the admiration that only a classic of it's pedigree can. I can think of very few squawks on this car. Right now I have the visors and a small vent grille (rear center of hood) removed. I have the items. On one wheel "knock off" the chrome is a little thin (bronze showing very slightly). New sets are available reasonably. The engine and trunk compartments are clean but not "show detailed". One small(1/2 sq. in.)paint touch up is detectable up close. The photos show the old top. I have used synthetic oil and run it with regularity. It has been great fun--it's just time for something different. I would trade for a 61 or 62 Corvette. This has been our first Classic car and has been a good experience.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
