Seller's description:
1974 Jaguar E-Type Series III Convertible finished in Black over Brown. It is powered by a a 5.3-liter V12 linked with a four-speed manual transmission. The car features Brown leather interior upholstery along with a Robbins black cloth soft top, air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and 15” knock-off wire wheels.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 241 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque when new. An aluminum radiator with dual Kenlo electric puller fans was fitted.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission that was reportedly rebuilt in 2021. An aluminum flywheel is said to have been added along with a 2.88:1 limited-slip differential sourced from a later-model Jaguar XJS.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
