Jaguar E Type 4.2 Roadster in Jaguar red with black leather trim piped red. This exceptional example has been maintained regardless of cost by its owners from new. The original Jaguar service book has been fully stamped up, initially by the supplying Jaguar dealers in Doncaster and then by specialist service engineers right up to 87,000 miles.
It has been the subject of meticulous renovation by P & K Thornton of Nottingham during the mid 1980's and again has had more paintwork carried out in the mid 1990's. More recently a stainless steel exhaust has been fitted and the leather uphostery has been renewed. All the chromework has been refurbished including the wire wheels.
Mechanically she is superb with good oil pressure and drives and handles impeccably.
The history file contains all receipts for work carried out from new, including old MOTs which verify the mileage as being 100% correct

In 2015 the car had a new bonnet fitted, repaint in red and the interior re-trimmed in black leather with red piping. New red seatbelts and a collapsible steering column were fitted. It is available for hire from The Open Road Classic Car Hire near Warwick. Details at www.theopenroad,co,uk .
