Owner contacted 12/15/03. He confirms that the JDHT has the color as golden sand with a tan interior. The car was restored by the previous owner in '98, painted red and has a black interior. It currently has the original engine but the tranny was replaced with a full synchro unit.

This car is a vey late 3.8, because the last one was the chassis number 881886, so only 29 E type 3.8´s LHD OTS, were built after than this one.

Look the detail that the Ashtray is the square type, like the 4.2, because it is a late 3.8.

    Nice car

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
